some more features, then believe me, this blog is STRICTLY dedicated to you...

Coming directly to the point...
To Change your operating system, you need to check your phone's compatibility,
so that it could be known that which will be the best alternate to your phone's OS
suitable to your hardware...
(NOTE:- Don't PLAY with it, you can seriously damage your phone and it may become permanently
dead if you don't follow the proper method of doing so...!!!)
To ensure that what you have found out is correct or not...

Now, those who have got some background about flashing...
I'm goin to show you a tutorial of how I FLASHED MY SONY ERICSSON K530i to W660i..!!!
First of all, connect your phone with a software name XS++(Find it at 4shared.com)
Then check the configuration of your phone...
Mine is a K530i, So this is some sought of configuration of my phone model:
Baseband ID: 9900
18:15:37| Protocol Version: 3.1

Mine is a EROM CID :53 phone...
So i had to use JdFlasher software for flashing..
Don't worry...it is the best software I've seen...!!!
Find it at 4shared.com with keywords "JDFlasher any cid".

It's really very easy...
Let me make some what more easier...
What you need...???
First of all,
visit www.se-lifestyle.com
and get the information about the phone model that could be cross-flashed with your phone..
Also,
one important thing...
Firstly, decide what exact features you want...
coz if u already have a walkman phne, then it may not useful to flash...
as walkman phones support almost everything...!!!
Then get the softwares frm 4shared.com:
1. JDFlasher any cid
2. get the OS for that model which you opt for...(for example k530i to w660i, then get a w660i MAIN Firmware
from se-lifestyle.
Also, get the W660i FS + W660i Customization pack...(total 3 things)
3. Lastly, visit akshayy.com for his brilliantly captured flash videos so that you get understood completely...!!!
The process is over now...
Now I'm showing an example of what i did to flash my k530i to w660i..
These are the exact steps that I followed :
The method goes like this:
Tools I need:
1. Far + JDFlasher (CID53,latest version that could flash CID 53 phones)
2. W660 R8BB001 MAIN GENERIC FY RED 53
3. W660 R8BB001 FS CENT ASIA Red 53 (as I am from INDIA)
4. W660 HB1 06 CDA102568 7 R8A GENERIC C ASIA =>28kb.
Now What I understood about the method:-
Far+jdf folder will contain the main, FS and finalization (i.e. CDA part)
Now, finalization is =tpa(folder),
FS=W660 R8BB001 FS CENT ASIA Red 53.fbn
MAIN= W660 R8BB001 MAIN GENERIC FY RED 53.mbn
Now, turning on FAR manager,
you will see two blue "lists". now press F11,
Click at "just da flasher" at script set:db2020,port:DCU-60,at speed:921600
and click at : jump down into a large rabbit hole.
1. Now, turn the phone off and hold button "C"
Connect to phone with the cable "with holding the button C".
2. In the left list we will see the two folders:
ofs
oflash
open oflash
In right we see opened folder FAR + JDF where we see our two files...
.mbn and .fbn
3. We click at W660_R8BB001_MAIN_GENERIC_FY_RED53.mbn and press F5, click at copy and wait.
4. Do that same thing with W660_R8BB001_FS_CENT_ASIA_RED53.fbn
5. Now finalization.
In left list, still click at 2 dots and then program asks a question : Are you sure?
Click YES...!!!
6. unplug the cable of the phone, Remove and insert the battery.
Turn off the program.
DONT TRY TO TURN ON THE MOBILE...!!!!
THATS NOT END YET.
7. Turn on program again press F11 , click just da flasher and next click jump into a large rabbit holeagain.
8. Hold "C" on the phone and connect cable to the phone with HOLD BUTTON "C".
9. Then in left list, open folder ofs and in right list, you foiund folder tpa, this folder is a finalization. Click at folder tpa and press F5 and click copy and wait...
10. Now still click at two dots in left list then question:
Are you SURE...??
Click YES.
And BIG TIME NOW...!!!
UNPLUG CABLE AND REMOVE AND INSERT THE BATTERY AND THEN TURN ON THE PHONE.
IT SHOULD WORK...!!!
Go, have fun...!!!
It's over...
Now you have a W660i phone...
The benefits of w660i over k530i:
Walkman 2.0 player + Flashmenu 1.1 support...!!!
