IETE through AIAEIT(Ahmedabad Institute of Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology):-
Hi friends, this is Abhishek Trivedi.... and the aim of this blog is just to solve the confusion of the students
who are in a great confusion "Whether to join this College(Institute) or not...??!!??"
I would be very openly expressing all of my thoughts and feelings for all of you gyes so that it would be very much
easy to take the final decission...!!!
The first and the most important priority of any student in his/her life always goes with the ENGINEERING...!!! I mean
if you have not scored much marks in your 10th standard or the 12th standard, and even if the Engineering doors are open
to you, then what a great feeling you would be getting at that particular moment of time(if I am not wrong)...!!!
Yes, it would definitely give you the best feeling ever...!!! And this is when IETE comes into action...!!!
IETE is a certain type of an AT PAR Course(Please concentrate on the words AT PAR, this means it's a distance learning course.)
The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers(IETE) is one type of Board/University (as Gujarat Board/University)
which has its own specified degree... which in comparision with the degree provided by the Gujarat University is considered as an
Equivalent Degree...!!
For Example, if you pursue an I.T. course from the Gujarat University, you get B.E. degree while from IETE, you get the certificate
mentioning the degree equivalent to B.E.
That's it...!!!!
If you are really interested in doing an Engineering course after 12th or even after 10th(Moving ahead with Diploma), I would kindly
suggest you to proceed with IETE...!!!
But let me first mention the +(plus) and -(Negative) points about doing your Engineering thru IETE:-
==(Negative Point)
1> First of all keep in mind that this is a distance learning course, so suppose if you in Pune, then you will be
just unaware of the comitee members, board of directors, Secretary general of the board and all the members
associated with IETE. I mean to say that, it's simply not possible to have a brief history of this board prior to
take admission.
==(Positive Point)
2> Secondly, Students do have a misbelief that the College should have an AICTE(All-India-Council-of-Technical-Education)
approved Certificate. Yes, I also do believe that it is a necessary one, but here the IETE board is itself a
stand-a-alone board and so it doesn't require to have such approvals...!!!
There are certain Insitutions through out India that coach students for the IETE exams by charging extra fees...!!!
NOTE: The Exam of each subject in IETE costs 400/- per subject till date. While the Institutions that coach students
charge extra for coaching students and preparing them for the IETE exams ranging from 80,000/-(4yr course) to 2,00,000(4yr course).
There are 4 Institutions through out India:-
- DELHI, AHMEDABAD, RAJKOT, PUNE.
At Present, being frank, I don't have much information on the Institutions at DELHI, PUNE and RAJKOT.
But for information on AIAEIT (AHMEDABAD INSTITUTE OF AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ),
I would kindly suggest you to visit my friend's blogpage: www.trivedidhaval.blogspot.com
You would get all the detailed information on this institution and whether to seek admission in
this Institution or not...!!!
I would also kindly request you to please comment on my blog whether it was useful to you gyes or not...!!!
Thank You...!!!!!!

ReplyDeletehello, sir
ReplyDeletei have completed 12th with 71% in PCM and I wanted to pursue a career in aeronautical engineering
I wanted to ask you wheather the AeSI which awards the degree of aeronautical engineering at AIAEIT is recognized or not?
and is it too AT PAR or is it a university as gujarat university???
Yes, AeSI is a certified course and recognised; however, it is advisable to prefer gujarat university courses first.
ReplyDeleteWhat I suggest is to google about AeSI.
Also, the AeSI is comparatively harder course.
